A message from the Lord Jesus,.... the Word of life,.... the eternal Word,... we should want it with all of our heart. His pure Word, not some persons misunderstood paraphrase of His mighty Word. Not some word that locks them into their legalized views on how they feel church should be either. We dont need a NEW word, We have the Word which was made flesh and walked with man (John 1:14). The Word that went teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom (Matthew 4:23). That compassionate word that healed every kind of disease and illness. Pure and perfect light, the nature of God, his doctrines and precepts , cant we see He didnt have to share them with us all all. Hebrews 1 v1-2, makes it clear Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world And as his perfect happiness cant be separated from his perfect holiness, our happiness will also be in proportion to our being made holy. The eternal Life, the eternal Son, put on flesh and blood, and died to wash us from our sins in his own blood, and obtain for us the sacred influences by which sin is to be restrained more and more, till it is done away. Victory through Christ Jesus on the cross. Victory through the Word. Let us plead guilty before God our Father, I WILL. Be humble, be willing to know the worst of my case. I honestly confess all my sins in their full extent, relying only on his mercy and truth through the righteousness of Christ, for a free and full forgiveness, Seeking deliverance from the power and practice of sin. I am so grateful for that Word. Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law
