A message to her - we live we learn we work to earn we laugh to smile, relax for a while - emotional stability is what we yearn To fight, to play, to sleep for a day we long and long for a happy place. My happy place has left me here, emotionally defeated, sad, and confused You left without saying a word, and even though Im free to replace you, my love for you remains caged like a bird; remaining ceaselessly for your return. Our friendship was incorrigible as it was perfect. You understood me and I understood you. As thin as suds but thicker than blood we were, you were as close to me as my family. I yearned and cried and fought my pride. Why? I reminisce on my prayer for those who meant harm to me to go away, and no longer in my life did you stay. It was clear; you, my closest friend plotted my demise. And since you were closest to me ironically this is no surprise.
