A mom desperately needs your advice and support: My 14 year old daughter is diagnosed with Aspergers, BP, ADHD & ODD and she has repeatedly said she is going to kill me and my son in our sleep. She also often talks about wanting to commit suicide. Sadly my insurance does not cover enough of my daughters treatment expenses. I have an opportunity to request DCS to strip my parental rights so she can get full medical coverage thru Medicaid and shed be placed in a loving residential facility where I am friends with the principal. Would you give up your parental rights if it meant your child would get the help you couldnt give?
