A month or so ago I wrote a Mason-McDuffie Education Foundation Grant proposal, nominating my high school Chemistry teacher, Catherine Worden. She has had both of my children as well, so it was a fun grant to write with approx. 30 years between generations. I received word today that she WON!!!! She asked me to be the presenter at the award ceremony, which I will do! It was such an honor to be able to nominate such an amazing teacher and the fact that she won is just icing on the cake!!
