A monumental achievement in my career this year .. This past Sunday I was awarded a grant from the Giulio Gari Foundation ... A night to remember.. A chance to sing with astounding rising artists as well as sing for some greats like Diana Soviero, Richard Leech and Marilyn Horne who I had the pleasure of meeting personally .. A huge thank you to the Goundation for their support in rising artists, Mary Pinto and Joan del Giudice for attending especially on my behalf, for being in my corner through this multiround boxing match called an opera career and for saving my tush in a tight spot with the right dress size and the right shade of lipstick .. I love you ladies ... And a special thank you to the wonderful, dear friend who took the time to accompany me to such a Gala affair Bobby ORourke, you handled my #diva so well (one might think youve done this before ;P)
