A morning tea and the opportunity to meet many of the residents of Nazareth House were just some of the highlights of my visit there today. Decent falls of rain outside might have made for a grey day, but the staff and the residents were all in good spirits and everyone had an interesting story to tell. With 90 residents and 108 staff, Nazareth House is a great example of the high level of aged care we have in this community and it is important to see the people who made such a contribution to our nation being looked after in such a caring and meaningful way.
