A mother wants your opinions.... My child is yet to start school. During our days, I remember we leave home for school by 7.30am and dismiss by latest 1oclock. We even had morning and afternoon Session(public schools) whereby afternoon Students are in school by 12 and dismiss by 5. Extra moral classes. Was not even compulsory.Nowadays I see children even a 3 years child leave as early as 7 for school and returning 5.30pm to face homework that will be submitted d next day, No quality rest. And I wonder how do they assimilate. What has been taught previously. It hurts me. Now I want to know if this is right, if its the cause of the parents esp. Mothers who are more interested in their Career abandoning Children in school till close of work or is what the schools have made compulsory That children must be in school till that time. Whats your take on this.
