A mother was so distress about her sons reluctant to go to church. you go to to shows for entertainment,, she said, you visit nd have fun with ur friends. Dont you think it is only right for you to go to the Lords house once a week for an hour? ? After thinkin for a moment, the boy replied. but mom, what would you think if you were invited to somebodys house and everytime you went the person was never there? GOOD POINT. Beloved let face it,its hard to be very enthusiastic about living a religious life when God seems to be absent at the most difficult times. Sometimes we wish that God speak to us, even just one sentence or a word. Hmm when we have such an experience as this, must we conclude that either God is missing or our faith is faulthy??? Hmm perhaps there is somethin else, another option. For it seems that even those people of profound faith nd spiritual insight have felt abondoned by God from time to time. Wasnt this the case for Job nd Jeremiah nd even JESUS who cried out My God,my God, why hast thou forsaken me! Well lets luk at somethin in PSALM 42. beloved its not always that u need the advice of other pple. Sometimes u need to sit urslef down and #TALK TO YOUR #SOUL. David talked to his soul in PSALM 42. HE SAID,,,, #PSALM42. As the deer pants for streams of water,so my soul pants for you Oh my God. My soul thirst for God,for the livin God.when can i go nd meet with God? My tears have been my food day nd night,while men say to me all day long where is your God? Beloved i dnt know, but if someone is aking what to do when all you hve had for breakfast is tears,followed by a late night snack of sorrow. The answer of the Psalmist sound as strange as the question.what does ur soul pants for in times of needy, what words do you say to ur soul when pple start askin you where is ur God? Didnt u say u are a christian????? Well in times like these all u need to do is to.... Preach to your soul.first David grieves, remembers and composes himself with a sermon to his SOUL. BELOVED when life becomes so hard that u dnt know what to do,,,, take yourself in hand,look yourself in the eyes and preach this message of David in Psalm 42:WHY ARE YOU CAST DOWN,O MY SOUL, ND WHY ARE YOU IN TURMOIL WITHIN ME. PUT YOU HOPE IN GOD FOR I WILL YET PRAISE HIM MY SAVIOUR ND MY GOD. Talk to ur soul, happy urself, motivate nd encourage ur Soul in the LORD. REMEMBER THAT PROBLEMS IN LIFE DONT COME TO DESTROY US, IT ONLY COMES TO STRENGTHENS OUR FAITH IN #GOD. YOU CAN DO THIS,DONT GVE UP! GOD BLESS YOU!
