A must read instructive report about the ongoing gross human rights violations against the #Oromo people in #Ethiopia. Amnesty Internationals 160 pages report documents the most silent aspects of the ongoing crackdown. (I didnt expect such an in depth report.) Amnesty did a good job particularly in light with the fact that it is almost impossible for independent local organizations to operate freely let alone to launch such a damning investigation. I hope someone or group will translate this report, at least the gist of it, into afan Oromo and Amharic. Curious to know how the local media will report.
