A must see documentary on sufferings of some 250,000 indentured Malayan Indian workers forced to built the most notorious and dangerous railway during World War 2 - The Siam Burma Death Railway. A prisoner of war Eric Lomax said in his memoir, One life lost for every sleeper laid. Many of our grandfathers have gone through this ordeal in silence suffering including my own grandfather. The documentary which won many admirations during its screening in US and Europe will be launched here in KL on 12th Oct 2014 @ 5pm at Dewan Tan Sri Soma NLFC Building Wisman Tun Sambanthan.
