A must watch short clip from a documentary that Adam McKay, an American Film maker, thinks you should see. The news is meant to be confusing and dreary. Its to render you helpless. there are some basic facts that we need to build on. 1) Tax the rich. 2) Were the richest country in the history of human kind. To say that we cannot afford to take care of our people is a lie. 3) Cut defense spending in half. We will still be out spending China 5 fold. 4) No more damn wars. 5) Media sources who do not serve the public need to lose their licenses. 6) Break up the oligarchies. The Sherman anti-trust bill is still on the books. 7) Re-regulate businesses and markets. In a true market, businesses dont need special treatment, they just need an even playing field. We need a strong OSHA, FDA, EPA and financial regulatory agencies. 8) Privatization of government services needs to be stopped. It is fascism. 9) Corporations are not people, money is not speech. This is also fascism. 10) Education is cheap. School lunches are cheap. Food stamps are cheap. Medical for all is cheap. Social Security is cheap. The alternatives are extremely expensive.
