Most meritorious students opt for MBA, civil services and other career bcz of uncertainty in medical profession at every stage.. 3. Reservations is adversely affecting the quality of doctors.. Unless PG seats are not doubled at least and reservation not lifted from at least PG entrance level, graduate doctors will be of no use and nation is going to face acute shortage of competent doctors
