A mystery is solved. Emptying the dishwasher was fraught with danger. Even though I was being as careful as I can be, the same sad scenario played again and again. I lean down to retrieve the clean dishes and then BANG! smack the back of my head into the cupboard door. Due to that pesky moment when I bounced my head on the wet pavement, it has been important that I not serve up any new concussions on this brain, and yet, even after mindfully closing the cupboards, POW, I would connect solidly enough to curse and weep. Ow-wee-ow-wee Bad Word. But now, I have realized the culprit. The House Is NOT Level. So even if I carefully close the door, while I’m bent over, it floats open to just the right place to catch my skull on the upswing. Gravity: Friend or Foe? There is no plumb plane (plain?) in this entire Sweet Suite. Drop by with your pocket level and see for yourself; the bubble will sit never settle between the OkeeDokee lines. Askew, my life is askew, but I have a clue.
