A new Audi lineup for the Joe Barry Memorial Cup Audi will be riding into their first Joe Barry Memorial Cup match on Saturday with a new look. Team captain Marc Ganzi will remain at the helm with Nic Roldan at his side, but Canadian 6-goaler Freddie Mannix and Argentine 5-goaler Lucas Lalor will fill out this year’s 20-goal roster. Audi struggled with inconsistent play in last year’s Joe Barry Memorial Cup play and is looking to get a boost from the new lineup. Rated at 6-goals in the US, Mannix carries an impressive 9-goal handicap in Argentina. Nic Roldan is one of America’s top-rated players. Rated at 8-goals, Nic has represented the United States on several occasions and can always be counted on for quick action and impressive ball control. A regular on the Audi team, Nic will be counted on to lead the team’s attack on the field. Lucas Lalor comes from a long line of Argentine polo players and will be looked to bring a youthful enthusiasm to the lineup. A talented mallet and skilled horsemanship, Lucas will be counted on to spearhead the Audi offense. Team captain Marc Ganzi is no newcomer to the high-goal scene in Wellington. He led his Audi team to wins in the 2009 US Open and C. V. Whitney Cup; the 2011 USPA Piaget Gold Cup. He was a member of the Their first opponent will be Tonkawa (Jeff Hildebrand, Gonzalo Deltour, Inaki Laprida and Jeff Blake), who altered their 2015 lineup as well. Last year Tonkawa made it into the final of the tournament with Gonzalo Pieres and Rodrigo Andrade (two Audi 26-goal regulars) on their roster, but decided to take another path this year.
