A new audition from EntertainersWorldwide: ORCHESTRAL MUSICIANS /JAZZ BAND - Wilderness Festival Orchestra I am looking for performers to take part in an orchestra and jazz band at the Wilderness Festival, which runs from the 8th – 11th of August 2013. Though the music we will be playing is largely not difficult there will be a lot of it, so all players will need to be at least grade 8 standard, and be able to sight-read fluently. The only rehearsal will be on Sunday 4th August in central London. Instruments needed: Bassoons, Horns, trumpet. Performers will be free to enjoy most of the festival, but will be performing during the afternoon/evening of Sunday 11th August, the final day of the festival. We are being invited to provide a headline show on the flagship multi-arts stage on the final night of the festival. We could be performing to anything up to 3/4,000 people – on a beautiful open-air custom landscaped amphitheatre. Please send your profile with a covering letter expressing an interest in performing.
