A new client recently offered this wonderful feedback with a 5-star review: I found a new piano tuner. There are a few tests that I have whenever deciding on a new vendor. The first is if they are prompt. Dave was right there on schedule. The next is if they are professional and provide confidence that they know what they are doing. Again, Dave came in, went to work immediately and stayed on task until the job was done. He was careful and respectful of my home and I felt assured he was trustworthy. Next I ant to know that they are skilled and competent for the work at hand. Dave is very high level. While the piano he was tuning for me is a modest nostrum end, based upon the quality of his ear and the fine technique he employed to do his work I would feel comfortable allowing him to work on very fine instruments as well. He has the touch and the ear that goes beyond the mechanical act of tuning to the craftsmanship and finesse of the higher level luthiers and technicians. Finally I look at the value of the service and the price paid. Dave is very much a high value service. The money paid for the service given is more than reasonable. Iafter trying his service through Groupon I hired him without question as my regularly scheduled piano tuner. I look forward to working with him for many year to come (John G., 4/13/14).
