A new community member writes: I am currently in need of some support in my area, Des Moines Iowa. I cant seem to find any support other than clinical and/or religious groups. I lost my mother/best friend/roommate/everything in february 2nd 2014, to double pneumonia. The holidays have been extremely hard not to mention the fact that her 51st birthday wouldve been in 4 days. Please let me know if you have any insight into any outreach programs or even a single person who I might be able to talk to who wont require me to pray or take ridiculous paper tests that are supposed to apply to all forms of grief. We are all individuals who have individual ways of dealing with our individual situations!
