A new labour agreement in France means that employees must ignore their bosses work emails once they are out of the office and relaxing at home – even on their smartphones. Meanwhile, Singapore has one of the longest average working hours in the world. Statistics published on the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) website showed that Singaporeans worked an average of 2,287 hours in 2011. According to MOM, it is also perfectly legal to work 12 hours a day.
