A new law that I supported prohibiting the sale of liquid nicotine to minors takes effect today. Liquid nicotine is a liquid composed of nicotine but is also laced with other chemicals and substances and is often flavored. Many E-liquids have been found to be harmful. A new Law (Chapter 542) protects children by prohibiting the sale of liquid nicotine to minors under the age of eighteen across the state and under the age of twenty-one in the city of New York. It also requires containers of electronic liquid to be child resistant.
