A new program called Activate™ (formally called C8 Kids) - TopicsExpress

A new program called Activate™ (formally called C8 Kids) combines video games and physical exercise to possibly pump up the brain and tone down symptoms in children with attention deficit disorder and challenges with executive functioning. Created by Bruce Wexler, M.D., a neuroscientist at Yale University, the computer-based video game addresses working memory, attention, self regulation, processing speed and other related cognitive skills. According to Additude, Activate™ has been implemented, to some degree, in the classroom of over 40 schools across the country. Last year, it was made available to the general public for home use as well. C8 Sciences offers its program to families on a pay what you want basis. You can sign up online for a free webinar to learn more, which I have. I will keep you posted as I am intrigued!
