A new report states what we have long believed: Long term professional collaborations among teachers that explore a common set of content-specific strategies with student work at the center of inquiry processes drives teacher development. "Too many teachers across the country are still being being provided with PD that is too generic, too sporadic, not tailored to their classrooms and allows for little, if any, time for collaboration with colleagues."
