A new set of happy and proud Grand Parents in this world .... ..that is Vandana Nilekani and me .....thanks to a 7 pound bonny boy being born a couple of hours back to our dear Devyani and Mohit in Austin, TX.!!!! Arjun, a Hearty and a Warm Welcome into the Family!!! And Thanks Mohit for finally realising how Grand we have been as Parents and conferring on us now offically the "Grand Parents" title !!! It is a wonderful feeling !! I must admit though... that I was quite anxious and nervous the past few days...no, not for the new-born...we were sure Devyani and Mohit and the doctors would take care of things....but what impact the new born would have on us.....that turning into Grand Parents we would suddenly age by 20 years..feel old and haggard...and just imagine having to go to bed with a grand mother!!!! But thankfully,it is a great feeling...and the newborn has brought so much excitement !!! And now we look forward to seeing Arjun in flesh and blood !!! Cheers!!!
