A new survey of what Americans cared about most in December ranked the flu third in priority. With good reason given all the news reports about the dangers of this year’s strains of flu, many of which are not covered by the flu vaccine. But as reported on the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, getting vaccinated is still the best protection against the flu. If you have #lupus, ask your doctor about getting vaccinated – it is generally recommended so long as it is not in the form of a live attenuated nasal vaccine.
