(A new video, made by a university in support of TMT, I watched today states) Māuna A Wākea, Our Sacred Piko of Hawaiʻi. Our connection between earth and sky. And in my mind Im thinking... And then BOOM!!! Desecration of our most sacred Māuna with a ridiculously, unwanted telescope that scientist and politicians claim to have been the way of our Polynesian ancestors. FYI our Kūpuna never destroyed or desecrated land let alone OUR Sacred Māuna to learn their ways. So if youre going to tell everyone that watches your show that Māuna A Wākea is the Piko of Hawaiʻi and is very sacred to Hawaiʻi and its people, maybe you should also inform them that you are in support of the desecration of it too!!!
