A nice, quiet evening for the area. Partly cloudy and comfortable overnight with lows in the middle and upper 50s. Expect some patchy fog. Friday, a slow increase in clouds with highs in the lower 80s over northern West Virginia, but cooler south of Route 33 with more clouds and a better chance of some scattered showers. Scattered showers also possible over the mountains. As low pressure crosses on Saturday, a good chance of scattered showers and a possible storm. Some heavy rain is possible as well, the highest threat in central and southern West Virginia. It will be cooler, highs in the upper 70s. Shower chances start to fall Sunday as the energy pulls away, so a better day with a mix of clouds and sun and a few showers, especially the first part of the day. Highs in the upper 70s. Monday, just an isolated shower, otherwise partly sunny with highs around 80. A cold front Tuesday through early Wednesday brings more showers and storms. Dry and cooler Thursday and Friday.
