A nice slo mo clip of a power clean to highlight some of the coaching points we are working on for the Sandbag Clean and Squat from the Conditioning 1 circuit. A few key points to notice. She keeps her hips back with her weight on her heels and her spine braced (she does not round her back). Her shoulders rise in time with her hips (she does not lift her rear first) Her arms remain straight as she drives with her legs, then she pulls through her shoulders / hands as she punches her hips though and snaps up onto her toes. Timing is everything and yes that is 308lbs she is throwing about like a dogs chew toy! :-)
