A noble gesture, but the thing that pisses me off ISNT the gut-feeling NONE of those MCs are going to accept her offer, but this ASSUMPTION that the youth, who been charging this movement in Ferguson to begin with (NOT the elders or so-called leaders) are the ones COMMITING THE VIOLENCE when it has been the POLICE being the agitators. WHY ARE THESE OLDER SO-CALLED ACTIVIST REPRESENTATORS are so AFRAID of an outcome that was NOT by the youths creation? Why is it that we must SUBMIT to a PASSIVE STANCE when for DECADES it has not WORKED? The only significant and dramatic change that occur was during the LA RIOTS, in spite of it all... It forced a lot of immediate change in L.A. at that time. Yet, now we want to be passive and non-violent against those who BEEN non-violent on US. Want us not to have any CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE in fear of what the police may do. Like I said, NOBLE GESTURE, but the youth... they GOT THIS. Stand down or join in. Dont take over.
