A note from one of our Fighters. Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I am a supporter of Leelah Alcorn who was deeply touched by her story just as you were. This morning I launched a campaign called HerPLEA (Project for Love, Equality, and Acceptance) in which I am aiming to raise donations for The Trevor Project and Human Rights Campaign, until what would have been Leelahs 18th birthday, November 15. As you probably know, one of Leelahs wishes was for transgender people to one day be treated in a way unlike how she was treated. I want to work towards this goal for her, and I would love your help. I think it would be wonderful to honor her 18th birthday in a way that will benefit transgender individuals across the nation.
