A note from someone who went to see NOAH MY TAKE ON NOAH... I went to see Noah in order to be knowledgeable so I could discuss it with people who might not be as informed about the true story. I was thinking the deception in the movie would be very subtle and provide some stimulating opportunities for witnessing. Clearly, subtle deception is not going to be the problem with this movie. Noah is so far from anything remotely resembling the true biblical story that it won’t be difficult to reveal the truth to anyone who’s interest in knowing. So, here’s my take on the movie Noah… If you think you’re going to see a Biblical story then know up front that it’s not. I started laughing out loud from the first moment it opens with the words, “In the beginning there was Nothing”. The movie is a Pathetic Joke! The real story of Noah was more believable than this version could ever hope to be. I was actually feeling embarrassed for the writer, director and producers because they clearly don’t have enough sense to be embarrassed for themselves. What could have been a classic is going to turn out to be nothing more than the memory of a ridiculous movie. After all is said and done the most disturbing thing to me is the misrepresentation of the true character of God. My prayer is that what the enemy meant for a mockery; God will use it to cause people to want to find out what the truth really is about God the “Creator”. May people come to know Him for who He really is: a Loving, Merciful, Kind, Life Giving, and Redemptive God who longs to be our Heavenly Father
