The Nigerian oil magnate TY Danjuma is 73-year old and has put over $100 million of his own money into his Charity but can we see this on the masses in Taraba state? the TY Danjuma Foundation- making it one of Africa’s largest charities, and Danjuma, the country’s biggest philanthropist but in his homestead of Takum, how are the schools there? What is the level of joblessness among youths in the Southern Zone? Can we say TY Danjuma is a blessing or curse to Taraba, think of all the crisies we have in Taraba today, cant you see the hand of blessed TY Danjuma? Danjuma said he did not know what to do with the money, but must he used his money to cause crises for us, must destroy our state, must he always deciede who govern Taraba state, how many hospitals he has built? how many schools has he built across our state, does he still need to shar from our state allocation that is a peanut to what he has? “This was extra money I did not know what to do with. I did not just want to leave the money in the bank. At some point, I thought about saving the money for my children, but I decided against it. I realized that they could fight over the money after I’m dead. So, I decided, why not give back to my people.” We his people are not benefiting from his wealth, go to Takun and see poverty.
