A note on my rescued pride of kitties, even the wildies are becoming lap/house kitties. All are neutered, all have shots, and two hard core ferals, who used to only hang out outdoors or in the basement, now come in and out of the house through a cat door to the basement.Not one of them has accidents, or sprays. Took time and patience, but it is worth it to see them unafraid and healthy. Never thought I would wind up a weird cat lady, but I find them very entertaining and intelligent, and very clean. However, the last little guy we saved, named Vladimir,SHOULD have been named Ivan the Terrible....he is a rampager and ransacker of everything from eight feet up in the air and on down. None of these cats likes loud or aggressive people, but respond only to quiet vibes. Go figure. True of all of my four legged family. Two legged family as well.
