A note to let you know that I am safe in Allenspark. Tom and I are fortunate that our cabin is on high ground and our creek is much lower. Many folks have had flooding problems....it so sad. The canyon roads have been closed...you can see why by the photos! For several days there has been no way out of the mountains. Estes Park is a mess and the road in that direction has also been closed....(rumor has it that they would have one lane open today?) I have plenty of canned food, I still have electricity, and sporadic internet....what more could I ask for? It is raining again so not sure what that will do to the situation up here. Tom is due in on Monday but not sure if I can pick him up yet!
