A note to myself first..... The eyes are the windows to the soul, so protect your soul from what your eyes see. If you allow your eyes to wander, be sure that you’re allowing your eeman to falter. When your eman falters, it immediately makes you view your sins as minuscule. When you view your sins as minuscule, the fear of Allaah diminishes. When the fear of Allaah diminishes, the hearts harden. So lower your gaze and protect your soul from what your eyes see.
