A notice from the Department of Public Safety: On Wednesday, October 22, President Bill Clinton will be attending an event at the Riverfront Banquet Center beginning around noon. Due to his visit, several large events planned on or near campus as well as security measures, parking, vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be greatly affected. All classes, including those held in the School of Management at the Riverfront Building will be held as scheduled. Union Street will be completely closed at Saginaw, Buckham Alley, and Beach Street. The only access to the Riverfront ramp will be from the north off of Beach St., and you will also be allowed to leave the ramp from this exit. All events will cause traffic congestion and max out parking on campus lots and in the downtown structures. The Department of Public Safety suggests that you plan on arriving early for your scheduled time on campus Wednesday and expect other delays.
