A number of hurried photos of so much action we couldnt keep up! Solly found a pair of honeymooning Leopards & as we responded to the sighting, expecting a special moment, the action became berserk! Three Lionesses burst onto the scene, their intentions hostile! They pursued the spotted cats relentlessly until the female sought refuge in a Marula tree, in the highest branches. Once they moved off, the Leopard came down, only to escape with her life up into another Marula, with a Lioness who followed her all the way up the trunk. After that had settled down, she cautiously came down again, only to be ambushed once again, which sent her up into a Tamboti tree, where she decided to stay until she was sure that all was safe. Major excitement!!
