A number of readers have informed me of a new device to stop the bleeding of gun wounds. Thank you. But, Im wondering how much it adds to what we already have? From first glance, it looks like it could help seal off a wound, like gauze or a tampon, but it does nothing for the internal bleeding in the abdominal cavity. Id love to know what people with medical training (military or otherwise) think. Worth it? Save lives? Easier to carry? Does more than I think? Gets deeper in the wound than gauze? Less painful? etc.
