A number of things make me sad about our dear nation Nigeria. One - TopicsExpress

A number of things make me sad about our dear nation Nigeria. One of those things is the attitude of some who work in government offices. I am NIPOST office on Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way in Ikeja to send off some items to the UK. Its my first time here. They have a great service, moving the parcels, Im told. My stuff was weighed and the amount is more than I envisaged. No sweat. I ask what is the rate per kilo, so that, next time, I can weigh my goods at home and be better prepared. The ladies at the regular and express service desks say, No way, they dont give the rates to clients. Which means until I bring my parcel, I wont have an estimate of the cost of sending it. I was made to buy a bigger roll of sellotape than I required. I bought a smaller one but the lady attending to me said I should buy the bigger one. I asked that for the sake of future transactions what items were prohibited. She said when I bring my parcels theyll examine them and let ,me know! Whew!!! What manner of customer service is this?!! Help me somebody. Whereas at ABC Cargo Express, all these information is on display formed to see when I come in tho their premises. NIPOST Management, please do something.
