A nurse told a colleague yesterday that if her hospital doesnt have 90% of the employees vaccinated against the flu that they lose their Medicare participation. She watched her disgruntled co-workers line-up to get their mandated shots. She then watched as several of her colleagues began to express flu-like symptoms. Instead of attempting to trick the body into building an immunity why dont we start by strengthening the immune system? Why dont we empower patients with foundational principles that govern personal healthcare decisions?
