A parent asks our group: Dont know if this is the correct place for this Im new but am feeling like a failure today. My 2 1/2 year old son has mild SPD and really struggles with getting dressed and clothes in general. If he spills on his clothes he cant stand to wear them and immediately takes them off then its a challenge to get anything back on him. Last night (early Christmas dinner) he spilled, I took his shirt off at his request and he refused to put a new one on. It seemed as if I got a lot of hate from my family that my child was being allowed to sit at the table shirt less. I finally got one on him but am feeling like a total failure. I cant make him lay down for naps, cant make him go to bed at night, cant make him put on a shirt, cant MAKE him do anything really. Is this what I should be judging myself on as a parent?
