A parent asks our group: Hi my son is nearly 5 and I have been told by his teacher that he may have some sensory issues, he now sees an ot once a week in school. I always knew he was a handful my family give him nicknames like danger boy and demolition man because he was always climbing and jumping off stuff, and reading things off this page Im finding a lot of signs that hes a seeker. My problem is that other than a bit of literature they havent really told me anything specific about my son Im wondering should I just trust that they know what theyre doing or should I take him to the doctor and get a proper diagnosis? Also I was wondering if being overly affectionate is related as my wee boy tells me at least 20 times a day he loves me hes constantly sitting on top of me and kissing me even just my arm when just sitting watching tv, I know this sounds lovely and it is but it can get a bit tiring.
