A parent asks our group: I just had to share, today EI came to evaluate my daughter for SPD, and somehow I felt like they saying it was my fault that she has SPD, because I am an overprotective mom (their words)?? I just felt really upset with how they made me feel like it was my fault, like I was such a bad mother. Should I even bother moving forward with them? Or should I just work with my daughter on my own. She is 11 months, and they said she had 2 areas where she was qualified. Vestibular and tactical (I believe that is what they said)? Thanks for letting me vent!
