A parent asks our group: My 17 year old daughter was speech delayed at age 3. Everything pretty normal until 7th grade and complained jeans and long sleeve clothes hurt. Now she can barely wear tank tops and skirts. I have to modify her bras and underwear so they dont hurt. She has attempted suicide 4x since 12/13. She is being treated for depression and anxiety. Shes been seeing an OT. They think she has tactile spd but refuses to do the brushing and exercises. She is an avoider and hates to hear anyone chew, etc. barely finished 11th grade. Any advice is welcomed.
