A parent asks our group: My SPD son (4.5 yrs old) was at an outdoor event with his dad and brother today. He is 100% pee potty trained and 0% poo potty trained. ALL pullups/diapers at this point make him completely raw so I am resigned to cleaning poopy underwear just to save his skin. Well today, he had a stomach issue and had a MAJOR blowout, up the front, up the back, I ran over there to clean/pick him up and he told me the other kids made fun of him, kept calling him poopypants What exactly is the problem with SPD and going poo in the potty, I know a LOT of SPD kiddos have this issue but WHY? and what can I do to help him?
