A parent asks our group: My daughter is 6 years old. She has a lot of signs & symptoms of SPD. I am currently in the process of getting her assessed for this. Lately, she has been having a lot of meltdowns at school. I have explained to them that this behavior could be out of her control. They insist that it is in her control & are punishing her for it. I am very angry & frustrated with the school. Is there any advice that I can get?? Please help us!! Thanks.
