A parent asks our group: does anyone else child scream blopdy murder and have a complete meltdown for hours when getting their nails cut? My 5yr had a 4hour meltdown last night cuz I cut his nails. The tantrum and meltdown lasted till 1am and it caused me to emotionally break down like normal. He has the same meltdown when I wash his hair and water touches his face. Anyone have any suggestions on ways to help prevent these meltdowns?
