A parent claims she can’t protect her children from “youth culture and unlimited access to information” and ties this to the death of feminism (also, isnt hip-hop scary!). It strikes me as odd to stand on moral ground by taking credit for aging based on the passage of time and recognizing change. I think there are tough questions to be raised, but you wont find them here. As a parent, I look forward to many opportunities to help drop the baggage of the past, help young people make educated decisions without censoring and suppression of their options, and giving kids an opportunity to carve and plan their own future. Remember how awesome it was in the old days? Yeah, me neither.
