A parent shares with our group: I needed to vent, my oldest daughter had a softball game and it was in our hometown, so I took my other three along ot watch, some family showed up to watch and the boys ( both have spd, one has a few other health problems) actually made friends and were playing with other boys. after the last 2 months of dealing with our younger son having surgery and behavior issues and medicine problems, I was actually relieved to see him happy. then one of the other boys accused my younger son of throwing dirt, nothing out of the ordinary I explained the good behavior rules to him. then another incident, then I watched them play and the other boys were teasing my son and chasing him, he thought the were playing and teased back and chased them then one gave him his hat and when my son took off with it 3 of them chased him knocked him down and hit him, I intervened and was so mad then their mom showed up because she heard me yelling my sons name , and I just lost it, they blamed my son! told their momi t was all him he called them names, stole their hat and ran, I screamed that they all were to blame they were teasing him and he thought it was a game , and told my husband to stay so my daughter could finish her game, took the other kids came home and I have not quit crying. I feel so ashamed I lost my cool, and it was just a slap in the heart that my boys will never be normal, and we have to deal with this forever
