A peaceful protest march was organised by the Students of AMU in which both girls and boys participated in huge numbers to support the vice chancellor and to condemn the biased media. AMU Students Union president Abdullah Azzam spoke that the Mass communication department of AMU was established in the year 1936 when there was no name of CNN, IBN, or Times Now Party of Smirity Irani..The womens are safe in AMU & we are an autonomous organisation free to make our decisions.. Later he read the memorandum to Press Council of India which was followed by Speeches of other post holders of the AMUSU. An unanimous decision to boycott TOI newspaper was also taken until they tender an apology.
