A perfect home for these girls should absolutely forget about baby gates. BUT they can count on two dogs who will come running just because their people called. I have had them here for just a little over 24 hours and no matter what they are doing, they come running when I call. Im not treating them or coaxing them in any way - just calling them. These girls had just gotten in the house and I was calling them to come to the room where they get locked up. They had every reason in the world to ignore me; my own dogs would. But instead they came running! These girls are extremely athletic, loving and intelligent. They are loyal and adjust so easily. They LOVE kids and are extremely gentle with them. Zoey does jump up on people when she is especially excited (that can easily be fixed with positive reinforcement training). They also have zero house manners as they have never lived in a house prior to being fostered. They ARE potty trained an even go to the edge of the yard to potty - I wish my dogs would do that! Seriously the coolest set of dogs I have ever met!
