A personal reflection - I awoke early, and got the family going (and myself). Like yesterday, I felt a bit blah today, and that feeling did not abate through most of the day. It may have to do with the recent passing of the wife of a high school buddy of mine. While he and I were not close in high school, Ive gained a better respect for him from our FB and other communications since. I am sad for him. Ive known the man for 52 years. And several months ago, a lovely woman in my high school class lost her loving husband. These kinds of things get to me, as I can sense my friends grief, and I feel helpless to do anything positive to succor them. Although I do pray for them and their families. Sigh. If those two high school fellow students read this, they know who they are. I think of you every day, no matter what mundane things I do besides.
